amazing location in Southport - close to everything we had planned. the rooms were large - well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. the bed was super comfortable - with stylish bedding and soft towels. the hosts were well-traveled and happy to share their home - providing great local insights. the breakfast had a great variety - including gluten-free options.

The property also boasts a beautiful garden, providing a peaceful atmosphere to unwind.

One of the downsides is that there are no chairs in the rooms and nowhere else to sit, which can be inconvenient for guests who would like to relax in their private space.

Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, with easy access to a beautiful garden and The Atkinson Centre for a concert.

We had a fantastic stay at Aotearoa Southport B&B. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, making our stay truly relaxing. The hosts, Vince and Denise, were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. They even catered to my gluten-free diet with a delicious breakfast. I also loved their two adorable and friendly dogs. we felt welcomed without any intrusion and would highly recommend this gem of a hotel. The food was excellent, and Denise's cooking skills were top-notch. The little touches like filter coffee and gluten-free cookies in our room were much appreciated. We can't praise this place enough.
